2003 Ford Explorer Overall it is a very nice vehicle depending upon your needs. for my family it is however 1 seat too small. if the 3rd row would hold 3 seats instead of 2 it would be perfect. interior is quite nice. the rear hatch was cracked when I purchased it and has since cracked more and i've noticed nearly all explorers of similar age have same cracks.

I have a 2003 Ford Explorer. I have had several incidents of it not easily changing from park to reverse, and reverse to park. Last night, I was unloading some items from the Explorer. The car was in park, and the emergency brake was engaged. I was standing in the right side passenger doorway. I reached over to turn off the ignition.10/10
