2006 Ford Freestyle Love having the 3rd row seating although it is not comfortable for adults. Issue with a common problem that was covered on other Ford models but was not covered on the freestyle. This issue caused the car to stop without warning, and cost about $1700. 00 to resolve.

2006 Ford Freestyle, 140,000 miles. Car is in good shape except for the front engine cradle/ subframe rusting out. I believe Ford issued a recall on the 2001-2004 escapes for the same issue, they should step up to remedy this issue on the Freestyle also.2.9/10

Jun 08, 2008 · Today I took my 2006 Freestyle to the local Ford garage to have a routine oil change and get it inspected. (My brother happens to be a Tech at this garage.) The oil change went well but my car failed the inspection due to me two front tires being bald (on the outside of the tire) and my front end in desperate need of an alignment.

2006 ford freestyle with 69,000 miles, while putting in forward or reverse vehicle would lurch and rpm's would rise to around 3500 ford states it's an throttle body module problem.. Replaced throttle body module and now vehicle will not go into gear. Dealership now states its a transmission problem.
