Sep 22, 2017 · This is notice how agoda.com is cheating people, it confirmed my booking for a hotel in Phuket, then reconfirmed it twice, issued me a hotel voucher and charged my credit card for booking and then at the last minute tells me that the hotel has a minimum requirement of 7 nights stay and tries to cancel my bookings.

Yesterday, I booked a 12 night stay at Fraser Place Central Seoul, South Korea using the agoda website. I had a terrible experience dealing with the agoda customer service staff via email because I asked them to produce a receipt that shows the hotel rate that is separate from all the extra taxes.

I initiated the refund with Agoda and they were prolonging stating that they arent able to contact hotel. I spoke to hotel and explained them with the scenario of not being able to travel.

Agoda is dangerous, unapologetic, and irresponsible. They even made it look like I was the one who cancelled the reservation. The service I buy from Agoda is booking of hotel rooms - if Agoda cannot provide such a service they should not exist.
