I was also having problems with the RAID controller and hard drives. I got them to send me a replacement hard drive about the 6 month point but it did not change anything. Listen, do not buy a overpriced Laptops, it's not worthed, build your own PC, cost less, less problems (most of PC parts also got their own warranty) or buy cheaper Laptops.
