Medically, Med Vet does a great job, but their prices are beyond outrageous. Grady Emergency Pet Hospital on Winton Road is another emergency option. We transferred Tinkerbell to Grady's after Med Vet gave us a $6000 estimate for repairing ruptured stitches from Tinkerbell's spaying. As for me, I'm staying with ShopMedVet.com for all of my veterinarian medical products because they have the strange ability to make their customers like me, chronically satisfied. As a side note: I just noticed the other day Med Vet is now even starting to carry some human medical supplies, probably overstock with prices to match.

Canada Vet gets around this by importing, mostly from Australia, which by the way, anyone in Canada can also order directly from Australia (usually getting a better price). So Canada Vet is just a middle-man charging a mark-up on anyone who's ignorant of the situation regarding pet meds in Canada.
