May 05, 2007 · When asked what alumacraft would do the dealer was told they would aluma weld and give $1000 allowance on a $20000 dollar boat this would also take up to 3 weeks of prime fishing time with no boat. I said I wanted a new boat I got it but not because of Alumacraft but because of the dealer.

Jul 23, 2008 · Alumacraft opened it up and said that mouse urine corroded it and caused the leak. Alumacraft refused to allow me to personally see the damage. The boat was returned to the dealer in April. Unfortunately I do not believe that mouse urine caused the problem. Fast forward to this June and I noticed that my boat is again taking on water.

The 2072 Bay is 725 pounds lighter than a fiberglass Skeeter SX-200 bay boat, which weighs 1,900 pounds despite being four inches shorter (but two inches wider) than the Alumacraft.
