I had purchased two 8’ sliders by Anderson Windows back in 2007 and one of the doors was broken into one week before I was going to Europe. The quote I got (including installation) is $2500 for 8 windows. This I could comfortably afford. Everything I've read on the internet says this is a low quality window.

May 20, 2012 · silverline uses a lower grade viny material opposed to the aforementioned brands using a higher grade vinyl. silverline tends to warp over time and they are not made under tight manufacturing tolerances. they also leak air and just look awefully cheap, particularly the welds. silverline remind me alot like MI Windows and alside.

Thank you for this post, it was extremely helpful. We just got a quote from Renewal by Anderson (replacing 21 windows, 1 door), I was shocked by the total cost of $71,000 prior to their discounts.
