Aug 17, 2019 · My doctor prescribed a blood pressure machine for me June 2010. I called Apria Healthcare to have them fill the prescription. When I finally got a Rep on the phone (after 5 calls back and forth from different departments) I ordered the machine that she told me was $98 dollars.

Apria Healthcare has a very shady business practice going on. You better pay attention to any paperwork, phone call involved in the transaction. They did not disclosure any numbers on the paperwork worst yet, they will claim on the paperwork "rental agreement" and you will get a bill because you own the equipment. Be aware of doing business with Apria as they are unethical in their business practices. I signed a Sales, Service, Rental Agreement for a CPAP Machine, in which I paid a $60.87 charge on my credit card; I was told I was paying rental charges for several months afterwhich the machine would turn into a purchase and the insurance company would pickup the charges.
