Welcome to r/troubledteens and thanks for sharing your story.. Was the phrase "handling your shit" part of the therapy you received? If so how did they define it? Unlike many other wilderness programs, I believe Aspiro promotes "adventure therapy" and includes activities like rafting, mountain climbing, repelling, mtn biking, etc. Would you please describe what a typical day was like?
