Dec 27, 2018 · I joined Audible.com's Gold Membership Plan so I could get 30% discount on titles. This plan costs $14.95US per month. The reality is you don't get any discount at all. When you become a member they inflate the price and then give a phony discount so you end up paying the same amount as a non-member pays.

Audible also has samples so you can test books and they do have a money back guarantee but honestly I have loved audiobooks when it's the right content with the right narrator. Audible membership is very much worth the money and then some.

I bought an annual membership up front at £69.99 for 12 credits - pretty good value, as that works out at just £5.80 a book. Especially if you go for the longer books costing over £25 or so. Having said that, though, Audible's advertised 'regular price' should be treated with a pinch of salt.2.4/5
