So i called autosave and spoke to rick and he said that since nothing is broken that the warranty does not cover a burned clutch, and that i should have replaced the clutch on an "automatic transmission". anyway, i do not recommend this warranty to anyone and i plan on turning this into a legal matter since this warranty is a scam.

We looked at the paperwork and told the delivery driver the paperwork was in the wrong name (my husbands) he said that as the car was meant to be delivered a day earlier while I was in work this was fine as my husband had to sign for delivery. We also noted that the extended warranty did not start after the 3 month warranty as requested.

Sep 11, 2006 · So basically, aamco wanted about 3000 to do the repair, which included all the new parts in the tranny and also two front new axels. Thats more than what i paid for the car. I ended up buyin a used tranny fro 250 and payin aamco bout 1200 to put it in and replaces the axels. Moral of the story, Stay away from Autosave Warranty.

Now that the transmission had been taken apart the transmission place wants $1900. So in addition to paying Dealer Services $2,000 for the warranty I now have to pay another $1900 to get my transmission put back together (which should be covered under warranty) and so far $879 in rental fees which keeps going up every day I do not have my car.
