We just had a horrible experience with banfield in fredericksburg, va. One of my customers took a pup they just purchased from me there for a routine vet check and shot. They wound up killing the puppy "or so they say"... They gave the puppy a shot of benadryl in case it had a reaction to the puppy

Aug 11, 2013 · The Banfield Pet Hospital Massaponax location in Fredericksburg, VA has had an extremely high turn over rate in vets, for a while they only had one vet on staff. It's very rare for you to ever see the same vet when you go in so they never really get to know your dogs or their history.

The pay and benefits are great but that's not why people become Veterinarians which Banfield seems to not understand. The medicine is terrible and if you want to practice good medicine this requires you to miss lunch / hustle all day and you likely still won't be able to practice good medicine due to the high volume of patients.3.2/5(2.1K)

What needs to be done to make Banfield pay for all these complaints and I believe are doing the wrong things. #1 giving out 6 to 8 shots a visit on top of deworming and blood work that is the #1 concern here. Not doing anything much when you take a sick dog.

Jul 04, 2009 · Banfield is a true rip-off and I encourage everyone to use a regular vet, do not sign a contract with this company. There are some good vets, but the corporate office is there to steal your money and take advantage of pet owners. I would be happy to speak to an attorney or participate in a class action suit. Banfield is disceptive and dishonest.
