I tripped over it and after 3 years of knee injections, need total knee replacement. I am still waiting to see if they will reimburse what I paid for this terrible flooring. The same type of problems I read here is similar to my complaints with the Bruce Floor I had installed. It just seams to dent, chip and scratch easily. There are places the top veneer is peeling. Bruce has been around for eons, but the company is dead in the water in my opinion in so far as anything new. Product quality is average to not pleasant for most installers working with their products day in and day out. But these guys are so used it and some don’t recognize what makes a better product.

If I had read the 102 negative reviews on Bruce/Armstrong hardwood flooring, with the same exact complaints, I would have been much better off… I can see if a review has a few bad reviews and numerous positive reviews than included fit and finish, but numerous negative one’s that match each other is a definite red flag people should listen to.
