Apr 18, 2012 · I do not live in Vancouver but my experience with noise complaints I have made is...when the bylaw officers are working you call them and they do respond, after bylaw hours you call the police on their nonemergency line - they respond if they are not doing something of greater importance. Sorry I misread the detached house part.
