This is why, in this case, the electricals are so well set up for extended stays. A 300Ah lithium battery is backed up by four 150W solar panels, an Anderson plug and a 60A mains charger.

We took our 19” Bushtracker weighing 3t across Gibb River, up to Kalumburu and Mitchell Falls. The only damage was a couple of broken cupboard hinges which was probably my fault for driving too fast. Your advice is sound, tyre pressure and speed are the two factors that count.

Jan 27, 2014 · One thing about the Kedron and Bushtracker is the welded spaceframe metal construction, which is similar to the way they make aeroplanes. I have not heard of any failing, except in crashes.Timber frames seem to relly on the fasenings. and will give way with time and punishment. May 25, 2015 · Bushtracker’s 20-footer is built to maintain that reputation, starting with a galvanised steel chassis and A frame. On the A frame is a DO35 hitch, substantial handbrake and jockey wheel. I want to add a little balance here. We have a 2007 ATV 2; chassis cracks have appeared, I am peeevvvvved! These vans are touted as "strength of the north" as we have put an extreme amount of our hard earned into this van (I’m not a man with wads to throw around), actually spending above budget to get what we expected to be an upgrade and the unit was to allow us to road trip away for next 2 ...4.4/5(5)
