Camping World recently purchased Freedom Roads rv Warranty Co. They do not honor the Warranty. They will pay for the minor repair but if a major repair comes along like a Turbo Rebuild for $1800, they start back pedaling and making lame excuses for why it is not covered. I might add they charged me $6300. for this ext warr.

Aug 07, 2012 · If the trailer is used but on extended warranty the coverage is detailed in the contract. 2 weeks in summer is really quick for an RV repair shop appointment. 2 weeks is a short period of time in the summer RV business to get in a special order item like a stereo.

A major leak at the fantastic fan, inoperable furnace, and an incorrectly installed awning which wobbled as it was extended or retracted. Camping World did repair the leak by completely resealing with Dicor the ENTIRE roof. The furnace was not fixed.

Taking this one step further, the Camping World stores collectively have associates with the worst attitude in U-S retail.

Grumbine’s stated that these repairs were NOT covered even though they are part of the COACH and charged me another $150.00. I bought my unit at Harrisburg Camping World, I bought the extended warrantee from Harrisburg and I took it to Harrisburg for service. NEVER again, I will never give another penny to Camping World or Thor Motorhomes.

I wish we had , because we are just another customer that's been lied to and abused by camping world. Our finance manager told us it was a five year extended warranty , come to find out later it was only 48 months ! Then camping world took 3 months to process the paperwork for the registration !1.6/5
