Nov 11, 2006 · I took the car to my boyfriends dad who is a mechanic. He looked at the brakes and said they were totally gone, and needed to be replaced. He said Canadian Tire Auto Service Dept. should not have allowed me to drive the car off the lot with the brakes in this condition. Being a mechanic, I gave him money for the brakes parts, and he replaced them.

May 27, 2017 · Canadian Tire IS THE WORSE retailer for understanding their OWN pricematching policy. They don't beat it by 10% anymore, but even before they didn't "understand" how the 10% worked. It was such a frustrating thing to try to pricematch because Canadian Tire ALWAYS had the more expensive items when compared to Home Depot or Lowes.
