Mar 28, 2016 · My husband and I as US citizens purchased a boat through a boat dealer from the Catamaran Company in Ft Lauderdale FL. Aside from being very difficult to deal with and a significant amount of false advertising that they kept changing (included items, engine size, repairs etc...) they told us the duty was being paid by them on the boat and that it had been filed and was in the proocess.
