Jan 10, 2009 · My neighbor recently decided that we lived up in BFE and installed a VERY powerful CB radio in his backyard complete with a 40' tall antenna. Needless to say this has caused several issues throughout the household from knocking out Wi-FI access, causing interference on wireless and cell phones, and completely disabling any wireless keyboards or mice throughout the entire house.

Dealing with CB Interference; For my CB days, I had a Radio Shack ground plane, Super Scanner, a Moon Raker 4,and a 3 element yagi. All in very close proximity of neighbors with TV antennas etc back in the early 70's. I rad a DAK radio and a couple of Cobra rigs- Not one complaint because I ran 4 watts on AM and I think it was 25 watts on SSB.

Dec 29, 2008 · A couple years ago my neighbor put up a 50 foot tall antenna for his Cb and HAM radio. Since then I can clearly hear his side of his radio conversations on my TV and am/fm radios. Recently his voice has been coming through on my cordless phones as well. I have searched online and can not find any record of him having a license to operate at the watts he is using.
