Sep 23, 2008 · I am a childminder and it is very hard to deal with a situation when you havent addressed it with them i have just had the same thing but the parent had terminated contract earlier. As a parent and a childminder i can see both sides of the issue you have. I think the contract dispute is very appauling you should not of treated you like this

If you are with a childminder already, you should have a copy of their most recent report AND if there have been any upheld complaints in the interim the minder should have informed you. Also a childminder has to keep a file of any complaints they receive (even if it did not got to Ofsted).
