Feb 09, 2010 · I also went to Jackson Hewitt to file my 2007 taxes and I had a 1099 as well. I went to them specifically because I had the 1099 and wanted to make sure my taxes were done correctly. The person who did my taxes ALSO 'forgot' to enter my 1099 info and I now owe the IRS $1300.
