Very disappointed with Countrywide Mortgage Services. The estate agent (Bridgfords) put unreasonable pressure on me to use the service of this in-house mortgage broker, saying that I couldn't even view a property unless I had finance in place, but as I really was keen to see the property, I agreed. This whole situation could easily have been avoided if the Countrywide consultant had investigated our concerns and remember he had 1 year to do so! A formal complaint went into Countrywide Mortgage Services and they have replied with an offer to reimburse the mortgage arrangement fee on the flat, the valuation fee and £100 for the inconvenience.

I have no doubt Countrywide Conveyancing Services will say I am not a customer of their’s as they have stated in previous critical reviews. I WAS a customer in April 2012 when I bought my new house from Bellway homes. Despite my purchasing a brand new house in a part exchange deal it still took over 5 months to complete.
