North Texas Toll Authority (NTTA) is screwing us big time. We have called multiple times regarding this issue and have now been sent to collections regarding a toll fee that is not ours. We live in California and have never been to Texas, yet we have received 2 different toll violations for a vehicle that is obviously not registered to us.

Keep in mind that I have called NTTA customer service multiple times since the beginning of this year and not once was it mentioned that I had an unpaid balance from 2015. NTTA is fabricating charges. By the time the charges arrive in the mail, they are several months old, and there is nothing one can do. It doesn't make any difference if you were even out of the area on the day of the charge. The fact that they have a blurry photo of what looks like your license plate, it could have been taken months or years ago.
