May 29, 2008 · The heating element on the Maytag range that I purchased at Sears burned up. I have a warranty on it, but when the repairman came out he charged me $50.00 for a service call. He said I didn't have a warranty. I went over to the Sears store and got a copy of my warranty and they told me I should not have been charged. They gave me a number to call for a refund.
