This is a review of car rental experience starting June 8th in Nice with drop-off in Paris on June 23rd or thereabouts. I now see their 85% 1 star reviews are warranted. We booked a BMW X5 through Webjet (an authorised third party seller for Europcar). Paid a deposit of $14.06 to Webjet, balance owing to be paid at Europcar counter of $170. Upon arriving at Europcar I was advised I would be downgraded to an X3. Disappointing.

I hired a Europcar via the Easyjet website for a car hire in Pisa, Italy, paid in advance and all was well. Now I suddenly notice they debitted an amount of €240, more than the initial cost of hiring the car! First of all I want to contact Europcar and get an explanation about what they debitted from my account.
