I've found many people on here and couldn't agree more wholeheartedly with "Don't rent with Europcar Dublin".All visitors to Ireland should avoid this company and their underhanded sales and marketing tactics. I wish I had found this forum before renting from Europcar.

Europcar UK opened a “case” to investigate, and that is the last I heard from them, despite me chasing them repeatedly, initially via telephone and then via email. I now see their 85% 1 star reviews are warranted. We booked a BMW X5 through Webjet (an authorised third party seller for Europcar). Paid a deposit of $14.06 to Webjet, balance owing to be paid at Europcar counter of $170. Upon arriving at Europcar I was advised I would be downgraded to an X3. Disappointing.
