May 26, 2007 · Well, my husband and I went to purchase a home with D.R. Horton. In the mist of signing the contract we were informed we had to sign a paper stating you had to use D.R. Horton mortgage company or only 8 other lenders they aprove of. So basically one can not use any mortgage company they want to go with.
