Jun 17, 2013 · They changed their name from Consumerbase to Exact Data. As my attorney advised, this was done to avoid lawsuits. I then checked with the Department of Justice and the Attorney's General Office and they have NUMEROUS complaints under the name Consumerbase aka Exact Data. Also, Consumerbase aka Exact Data has a terrible review with the BBB.
