Jul 20, 2013 · I just had my fist (and hopefully last) experience of Corgi homeplan which was so bad I decided to join this forum to share it! My recommendation is to stay away (unless you have a very new boiler, in which case the cover is useless anyway). I had a boiler installed in 2007 and have always had a Homecare 400 with British Gas.

Boiler needed attention and the engineer came the next day. However we had a medical emergency at home so were at the hospital when he arrived. I rang him later to explain. Rang Corgi HomePlan also to explain and was assured an engineer would be with us asap. The engineers turned up next morning st 9am and carried out the work efficiently.

Dec 12, 2016 · Corgi are no diff to BG in what they will cover, if the system is sludged or scaled it's not covered as the system has either been incorrectly installed or not maintained, wether the plate hex is scaled i don't know & tbh neither do you (you can't tell that just by looking at it or running water through it), Corgi will only pay for 1 hr to work out the problem & they won't pay travelling time ...
