Oct 15, 2010 · Cottonwood Futons is not a reputable company, and I wish I had done my research on them more before purchasing from them or I never would have bought it. It doesn't surprise me to see so many complaints with the BBB and online on various forums. Cottonwood Futons is a bad business. I too am having trouble with this company.

Stay away from Cottonwood Futons, Madison WI. From Cottonwood Futons, I purchased a futon frame, mattress, drawers for the frame, and a cover for the mattress. I received the drawers in a undamaged shipping box with the bottoms cracked. The drawer bottoms are about the thickness and structural integrity of a piece of cardboard.

These idiots at Cottonwood Futons have been treating me and my wife like crap ever since we gave them almost $500 for a cheap piece of crap futon. The tools needed for assembly were not included, the instructions were vague, the screws did not fit in the holes, and the holes were not drilled in-line, so the screws all stripped.
