For Anyone Wondering if Distribber was Legit . I saw this today on Jason Brubaker's Filmmaking Stuff. He's been a consultant for Distribber and just announced that Distribber got acquired by GoDigital for 7 figures. Makes Distribber sound pretty legit. I know if I had a film past the development phase, I'd be looking into using Distribber.

Apr 08, 2014 · On March 1, 2013 - I paid Distribber $1994 to have my film "Assisted Fishing" presented to iTunes (HD) and Hulu. I sent my film and all deliverables to Distribber on March 8, 2013 on a hard drive with the understanding that the files would be copied over and the hard drive would be returned and that it usually averages around 90 days to get a decision from iTunes.

Overall the process has been extremely smooth and the Distribber team is extremely responsive and transparent. I think for a non-studio film, we have been able to compete with the top films in our category so we have no complaints at all. Distribber also made it super easy with our closed captioning and translations into multiple languages.
