Customer service and No service - broadband and phone. Just switched over to them and nothing but headache. Customer service is a joke, chat function has virus in India, phone lines take too long to get through. Looks like I'm moving elsewhere. Looks like staff needs a bit training or maybe they need actual staff to start with.

I had been a customer of Eircom some time ago. I found their service very poor at best. Their customer support services were pathetic, and complaints procedure non existent. I would NOT recommend Eircom telephony or internet services to anyone.

Eir, better remembered as Eircom is by far the worst provider in Ireland. Not only they cheat on their customers on broadband speed but they have the worst customer service, the most incompetent, biased and arrogant technical support and the most unethical and often illegal commercial practices.

Jul 04, 2008 · A Government spokesman has stated that this is an isolated incident and that the liklihood of two happy eircom customers residing within the state are very remote. The deployment of the emergency services is a precautionary measure and that it is hoped the eircom will be back to their usual incompetance self in the very near future.
