Like the previous Yelper, I too received spam in my physical mailbox from Embrace Home Loans. Unlike the previous Yelper, I looked over the paperwork from Embrace and decided to give them a try. I agree with all the posted complaints. Embrace is just one big ripoff. They take your $375.00 and do not keep in contact with you. Once my appraisal came back the loan specialist did not contact me to say he had received it and the appraisal came back less then expected. Embrace must only approve loans for the rich and not the middle class people.

Sep 17, 2010 · Just received a brown envelope stating "Loan Documents Enclosed" from an Illinois zip code from a company in Newport, RI - Embrace Home Loans" offering FHA approved rates of 4.375% home mortgage and consolidation loans. Seems weird, they have BBB stamps and Equal Housing Lender logos on their packet. Sounds to good to be true.
