I realize there is some debate on the validity of these tests since Dr. Fine’s research hasn’t undergone the peer review process. Either which way, I think it is a useful tool that can help people gain valuable insight about their health.

May 01, 2013 · We only embrace tests that have endured rigorous scientific evaluations. So far, these tests have received no evidence-based support. Enterolab has never successfully published anything on the accuracy of stool tests (nor have any other stool test manufacturers, to our knowledge) making it difficult to confirm the research results.

Jun 20, 2011 · Enterolab is controversial for those that are searching for the `gold standard`diagnosis but for those of us that are symptomatic but sero negative frankly the test is a god send. if you are getting tested the comprehensive panel that includes the gene test is a good idea.

Jun 14, 2010 · Enterolab has made the decision to only patent their tests, rather than doing proper controlled studies and publishing in the peer-reviewed scientific literature. This means that anyone with good scientific training (like me) will regard Enterolab with deep suspicion.

Then, you need to spend another $99 for a fecal IgA test at EnteroLab (who they seem to have quite a warm and fuzzy relationship with…just saying) and if those tests come back and show you “still have celiac” (their words…not mine), THEN you get your money back. Please.
