Jun 15, 2011 · We took out Eon's heating cover well over a year ago, I just contacted them to cancel it as we are having a new boiler fitted. I had the shock of been told that I would have to pay a £65 cancellation fee on a £12 monthly contract. Apparently the contract automatically renews if you don't contact them when they send you a renewal letter.

Thought that people considering getting boiler or/ and central heating cover from EON (HES) might like to know that despite having such cover i have been without hot water at my house now for almost 4 weeks. They have not even tried to fix it yet - just a couple of inspection visits follwed by week long waits for the next appointment.
