I don't know of a function but all you have to do is add the UNIX epoch start (converted to SAS sas time) and add that to your unix time in seconds and adjust for time zone. A more easy way, the epoch and sas datetime type only are different in the choicen point of zero. SAS is using 1 jan1960, the epoch is using 1 jan1970. From the above two comments, it is expected that MH events would not have a value for the EPOCH variable. As EPOCH is a permissible variable, when null for all records it should be omitted from the dataset.
