You all need to avoid & boycott ERS (Equity Red Star) insurance because they overcharge taxi drivers. First-year insurance is £3200 inc interest, 2nd-year insurance £5800 (2 x X) because the driver had 1 fault accident, 2 none fault accident. Not only that ERS insurance is based on manipulation and lies.

If you have the foresight to read this review I recommend that you avoid getting your insurance through Equity Red Star at all costs. It has taken them from October 2017 to March 2018 to deny a legitimate claim for damage to my motorhome. They refused to come and see the vehicle instead relying on photographic images.

Totally incompetent organisation. My son is insured with Equity Red Star as they were the least criminally high priced company for Third Party Fire and Theft. As he is a new driver the policy was nearly £2,000. Unfortunately, through no fault of his own, the rear windscreen was smashed and the ERS were called.

May 05, 2009 · I've called the financial ombudsman but they tell me that they Equity Red Star have 8 weeks to respond to my written complaint before they can get involved. I am appalled that an insurance company can treat their customers in this way. How can I: a) get a prompt settlement of my claim?
