Who may file under the AIR21 Whistleblower Protection Program? Only inputs from employees of US air carriers, their contractors, and their subcontractors are accepted under the AIR21 Whistleblower Protection Program. Other individuals should file complaints or safety reports using the FAA Hotline.
The FAA Hotline accepts reports concerning the safety of the National Airspace System, violation of a Federal Aviation Regulation (Title 14 CFR), aviation safety issues, and reports related to FAA employees or FAA facilities.The FAA Hotline provides a single venue for FAA employees, the aviation community and the public to file their reports.*
You must file a WBPP complaint with OSHA within 90 DAYS of the discrimination event. This notification advises the FAA but is not a substitute for filing the required complaint with OSHA.
