Most of our windows were replaced in the late 90s with Farley double hung windows. The windows flip in for washing but most of the latches that hold the window in place have broken off so when the window is open it easily falls in. This has been dangerous as a couple of them have fallen on our children. Luckily no major injuries.2.7/5(11)

Window Comments. After a recent purchase and installation of replacement Farley Windows, I have seen that they allow water to leak into the house. If water leaks air may leak, too. Farley windows were installed at my mountain cottage 7 years ago and have performed without insident. The area has very bad winter weather and have had no problems with leaks or needed repairs. Proper installation seems to be the answer to many problems I've about.4.9/10(19)

Jul 17, 2009 · Farley Windows, the manufacturer of these windows, seems to be content that it's OK for their new windows to leak water due to the poor design of the window drainage. I know Farley Windows of Alexandria, ON manufactures these windows sold by Home Depot Canada and by many other dealers as well.
