To only gripe I have also found throughout the Fender tried whatever the store: the strings are set too high original (and still is very subjective, it is a personal opinion but I find it unpleasant) but hey this is quickly corrected!

Sep 23, 2014 · Sounds to me like Fender used a different vendor for the knobs on the 60th, than they did 10 years ago for the 50th, I've even changed pots on my 50th, popping them on and off a few times with no issue. They will most likely get many complaints if these new ones keep breaking in half.

Mar 24, 2016 · For years people were complaining that the American Vintage series is not correct. Not the plastic parts, the finish, the saddles etc. Fender finally went all the way with the new AV series and even further with the 60th Anniversary '54. Now they are getting complaints about the finish and cracking knobs and the "football" switch tip.

You're talking about an upcharge of around $250 for a limited edition bass that has been described by some as the best Pbass on the market.

Mar 21, 2017 · The woody at Guitar Resurrection is tagged at $850. Last time I checked closed sales on ebay, that's probably about $2-300 too high. Unless you're just dying for the 1940s aesthetics of the wood cabinet, you could buy a used regular Pro Junior v.II (that's what the Woodies are under the hood), put a Jensen P10R in it (what Jeff Beck does), and have essentially the same amp for a whole lot less.
