I, too, fell victim to purchasing a Fidelity Warranty Services contract, but luckily cancelled it within 48 hours after reading the fine print and all the complaints on the internet. Where I got burned was on my car loan, because once I cancelled the FWS contract, the dealership would not re-amortize the loan based on a lowered borrowed amount.

She took the car in to have it checked and it was diagnosed with an axle problem. We contacted Fidelity Warranty Services and was told her "Gold Plus Coverage Plan" does not cover the problem.
