Freightcenter did not contact us during shipment, which would be the appropriate thing to do. Freightcenter makes you sign an agreement when you ship that basically says they can charge you any amount at any time. Of course probably no one pays much attention to this (we didn't). But if you try to fight it that is what they will throw back at you.
