Gorell would not honor its 50 year warranty on its triple pane windows. Seals were all defective and shoddy workmanship was revealed upon further inspection. Our family business was a Gorell dealer (and previously Season-All) and as such we sold and installed thousands (yes thousands) of Gorell Replacement windows sold mostly on the strenghth of the 50 year unconditional replacement warranty. In February 2012 Gorell suddenly closed and was in bankruptcy.

I purchased 11 Gorell windows from A&J Reliable in the [redacted] of 2010. I noticed during the winter of 2012/2013 that one of the small windows, of the combination units, in my living room was failing!. Around [redacted] of 2013, I contacted Gorell by e-mail and was told that the company had reorganized and no longer would honor my guarantee.
