We and a friend stayed at the Playa Grande in Cabo in March & took advantage of the "free breakfast & 90 minute presentation" (first mistake!) to see the Grand Solmar Land's End property. We will admit that we were impressed by the facility and beauty of the setting/property. The 3 of us decided to go in together to purchase a 2 bedroom condo (2nd mistake).

The Grand Solmar is right next door, and such a tease because it's beautiful with amazing amenities, but Solmar guests are not able to utilize them. Though we are able to go to the sister resort, the Playa Grande (I believe it's called), and use their pool and gym.
