Hamleys is an institution as far as toy shops go but they really have lost the prestige they once had. Some "clever" marketing person came up with an idea to put on a "Build A Bear and Pay Your Child's Age" offer which in theory should have been great but no one did any homework as to the mass chaos this would cause.

I visited Hamleys to get some gifts for my friends children and I absolutely loved the amount of section for all age groups but I was very grateful for the customer services assistance by one of the floor managers who assisted me for my purchases and kind delivery of a gift box that I specifically requested to be a Hamleys gift box.

Cons. i work for RDM, one of the concessions in hamleys, and the management is horrendous. you don’t get treated like a human being, just a toy selling machine. expect to be abused for calling in sick and to be told that you’re an embarrassment if you don’t sell as much as the bossman would like. also the pay is bad, but thats the least of my concerns4/5
