Hccua is a total rip-off. I feel that the policy was misrepresented from the beginning. I have made several calls about the failure to pay certain claims and they always have some excuse. This is the dentist that did not honor his contract with HCCUA. I ended up paying cash with a 10% discount. He also, after dealing with me, is no longer a member of HCCUA. I believe if you call him you too will find out how dysfunctional the HCCUA health care plan is a rip off. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME AND DO SOME RESEARCH ON THIS COMPANY.

i contacted this association on 8/16/12 regarding a free drug prescription program they offered, for which they research and find drug manufacturers and prices based on me and my wife's income for my diabetic and heart medication. i gave them the information which was $32,000 for my wife and mine was $6,000 annual. at this time i was unemployed and exhausted all unemployement benefits.
