I began attending IADT in the Spring of 2005, at their Seattle Campus, actually their not in Seattle, they are in Tukwila. I attended this campus for Interior Design. From 2005 to date I was laboring under the lie that my IADT-Seattle credits could transfer to any state or private college / university in the United States.

Fortunately I only attended for a year due to sickness, but accumulated $15, 834 in student loan debt. When I returned to another college and tried to transfer my worthless IADT credits, is when I found out about their fraudulent practices. As of late several lawsuits against for-profit schools have made progress, but nothing for IADT students.

And to make matters worse, IADT is CLOSING due to low profits and low enrollment. They were sold to Sanford-Brown Colleges and now they are closing next year (2016). I will not have alumni support or any resources from that school. I also learned they were NOT nationally accredited like they said they were. They were self-accredited.
