The end use of this footage will be a standard-def DVD for a player to send to colleges for scholarship consideration. The footage is already imported, and erased from the camera.

I love being able to shoot, edit, and share on the same device, and I've gotten good enough at the work-arounds that they (mostly) no longer bother me. I seem to only have this problem when I try adding more than one Picture-In-Picture (PIP) option in a Project I'm working on. Happens on iMovie'09, iMovie'11 (9.0.4 and 9.0.8). Today I deleted iMovie from my computer and reinstalled it - same problem.

Jan 31, 2014 · Been using the new iMovie since it came out in December. It is certainly different than the old iMovie. Have found it to be very usable. Actually not to bad a program to use for small projects. There have been many complaints, but most would have been solved had people read the Help. For the cost of free, you can not go wrong.
