All business will get complaints. How those businesses take care of those complaints is what separates good businesses from the rest.

I had similar very bad experience with Instrumentalley.com and want to add one more caution. I was told things were in stock that were not. Told things shipped that were not. ... I think complaints about Instrument alley are exaggerated. I ordered a The Loar LM-700 mandolin over their web site Jan. 10, 2011. It showed as in stock at the time.

Jan 27, 2014 · I feel like I may have been burned but it's still early and we will see how this plays out. I got my new Rover RM-75 Saturday from Instrumentalley.com and it was a little fishy from the get-go. There was no box damage and it arrived well-packaged. There was a rip in the case material to begin with. Bummer, but nothing a little glue wouldn't fix.

Aug 24, 2013 · This Gold Tone BC-350 did not disappoint. A very loud sound for an open back banjo, but also slightly plunky for that old time tone. Sound Rating: 9. Setup. The banjo was selected by the shop tech as the best set up and most playable of the models available. It arrived with a very nice, playable action (not too low).

As Ben Franklin said... "Experience is a good teacher, but fools will learn no other way." So... I'm not going to order from InstrumentAlley.com. No way, man.

Feb 26, 2010 · The Recording King 000 guitars have a nut width slightly wider than 1 3/4" and a couple are 1 13/16" . The solid ones are quite nice. The laminated ones are surprisingly good and, if you are looking for a backup, would save you a bit of money.
