Jan 28, 2019 · I bought a Jointech set up about 7-8 years ago. I stopped woodworking about 3-4 years ago with the intention of getting back into it when I had more time. I just bought a new table saw and am kinda bummed that Jointech is gone. It was a good tool. If you decide to “unload” yours, I might be willing to buy it for spare parts. Just in case…

Doing a search I discovered the Smartmiter by Jointech. I had never heard of this company before since they don’t have a distributor here in Canada but they have a pretty good line of interesting products. I could not find one negative review of this product, most people are just pleased as punch with it.

Jointech recently introduced their saw train and router system for the Shopsmith 510. This might breathe new life into the Shopsmith Mark V. The price is a bit high ($1100.00) but it looks really trick. Of course there is still a lot of fiddling around to do to raise blades, tilt the table, etc.

Dubby Cutoff Fixture Review ... One of my complaints of the Dubby is that you cannot use it with multiple saws, unless by some miracle, the miter slot to blade distance is identical on both saws. Jointech got around this by making the miter bar adjustable, laterally, on the bottom of the base! Incredible!

Aug 09, 2019 · Gator, I don't have any complaints with my 500s. The blade and table on the one used for ripping doesn't move often. That saw has a Jointech saw train and router table mounted. The fence system is great. Lots of ways to attach hold downs and feather boards. I've never had a kickback. The other 500 is a shorty and powers the bandsaw and belt sander.
